Electronic Assembler

Overview

Electronic components are part of a variety of consumer products and equipment used in manufacturing and other industries. Earning an Electronic Assembler Certificate at Madison College will provide you with the skills like soldering and component testing, and prepare you for a job in one of the many fields that involves electronic assembly.

As an Electronic Assembler Certificate student, you will:

  • Gain hands-on lab experience.  
  • Practice using electronic test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot assemblies.
  • Learn international standards for soldered Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).
  • Understand uses of electronic components, including resistors and capacitors.  
  • Repair printed circuit boards, including thumb drives and phones.
