Madison College's IT-HDI Support Center Analyst certificate provides information systems students and professionals with instruction in the areas of technical support and customer services skills. Courses explore the role of the customer service analyst in assessing customer needs and providing exceptional customer service. Topics include critical thinking skills to resolve incidents, effective communication strategies, handling conflict, developing a customer service attitude and understanding the processes of quality service management delivered through established best practices. After completing the certificate courses, students will need additional preparation and practice time to successfully pass the Help Desk Institute (HDI) Customer Service Representative (CSR) certification exams.
