Wisconsin is home to approximately 250 insurance companies, the fourth highest in the country. Insurance ranks fifth in Wisconsin’s top five industries, and pays wages approximately 45% higher than other industries in the state.

Nationally, the insurance industry anticipates needing to fill 400,000 positions by the year 2020.
