Learn how to register to vote, who you can vote for, and where you can vote.
How do I register to vote?
Complete your voter registration by using madisoncollege.turbovote.org. You can register to vote online or by mail until 20 days before an election.
To register online, you must enter a name, date of birth, Wisconsin Driver's License, or ID number, and an address that matches what is on file with the Wisconsin DMV. If all of the fields match, you will be able to register to vote completely online without needing to print, sign, or mail the form and without needing to send a proof of residence document.
After that date, you must register to vote in person at your municipal clerk’s office or other designated registration site up until the Friday before the election.
You can also register to vote at your polling place on election day.
Note: Voters who are not able to match their information with the information in the DMV database will be given the option to register by mail.
How do I update my address?
You can update your address with the DMV and then update your address on your voter registration online.
I’m having trouble registering online.
If you are unable to register online and need to register by mail, print and mail your registration form to your municipal clerk. You can get assistance with form printing, postage, and mailing from madisoncollege.turbovote.org.
I’m not sure if I am registered to vote.

The Madison College TurboVote site’s online process will check your voter registration status and help you get registered if you aren’t.
If you are registered, you can use TurboVote to request an absentee ballot or find your polling place.

You can find out more information about the candidates on your ballot, including candidate responses to questions about issues, on Vote411.org.

You can also request an absentee ballot using madisoncollege.turbovote.org.
If you plan to vote in person, remember to bring a photo ID with you to the polls, you can check to make sure that your photo ID will work for voting at Bringit.wi.gov.
If you don’t have a photo ID for voting, enrolled Madison College students can get a voter ID printed from Madison College Student Life.

Constitution Day
Madison College observes Constitution Day each year on or around September 17. The federal holiday recognizes the adoption of the U.S. Constitution and celebrates citizenship. This annual event is coordinated through Student Life.
