As a new student to the college or to your program, there are different events offered throughout the year to help get you off to a smooth start at Madison College.
Advising & Registration
At Advising & Registration, you will meet with your academic advisors in a group setting, plan out your academic career, receive personalized assistance to enroll in classes and begin to meet students and instructors in your program of study. Some programs require mandatory Advising & Registration Sessions or program-specific orientations, so keep an eye on your personal email for more information.
Invitations for students admitted for the fall semester are sent out starting in March; invitations for students admitted for the spring semester begin in October. Registration is required to attend Advising & Registration. Contact Enrollment Services if you need help signing up for a session.
Students admitted to a certificate program may register beginning on their assigned registration date and do not participate in Advising & Registration. If you need help with course selection please contact Student Development & Retention Services.
Wolfpack Welcome prepares you for the beginning of your college experience at Madison College. All new students are expected to attend and family members are welcome.
At Wolfpack Welcome, you'll learn more about:
Academic Support Services: Students have access to free academic support services such as technology help, the writing and math center, tutors, etc.
OneCard: Your student ID will be used for identification purposes, access to the library and debit card services on campus.
WolfPack Connect: Download the app and get involved in clubs and events.
For events at the Truax campus, park in the student parking lot(s). Parking passes/permits are not required on A&R or WolfPack Welcome days. Get contact and location information including directions and maps to all Madison College campuses.
If you need reasonable accommodations in order to participate in any part of the orientation process, please contact Madison College’s Disability Resource Services.
