Tobacco-Free Campus

Madison College is 100% tobacco-free as part of our effort to create a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Our tobacco-free policy prohibits smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes and tobacco products by anyone on district property. This applies to all college owned or leased vehicles, buildings, grounds, and parking lots.

We've provided the following resources for those who are interested in quitting:

  • Call the Quit Line at 800-QUIT-NOW (608-784-8669) or chat online with a quit coach. This is free to Wisconsin residents and offers medication, coaching, referrals, and support.
  • Students may contact the Student Health Education at 608-246-6651 or to discuss options for quitting.
  • Employees may contact Employee Wellness at 608-243-4133 to discuss options for quitting.

If you see people smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco on campus, please contact our Public Safety office.

Please refer to the official Tobacco Free District Regulation for further information.
