Health Simulation Center

Welcome to the Madison Area Technical College's Health Simulation Center (HSC). Through program and multidisciplinary learning experiences we are: redefining the standards in how we work, how we learn, and how we interact as professionals.
Madison College gives healthcare providers a new perspective on how to handle real medical situations in a safe, simulated environment. Through high-fidelity scenarios that simulate genuine crisis management situations, the Health Simulation Center at Madison College can open new chapters in the level of healthcare quality that participants provide.
Our Focus: communication, collaboration, and patient care management in order to develop skills and teamwork behaviors that are best learned actively under realistic conditions.
The HSC opened in August 2013 and is shared among the Madison College's EMS, Nursing, Respiratory Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Surgical Technologist, Medical Assistant, Optometric, Dental and Radiography programs. The School of Health Education and the School of Human and Protective Services are working to ensure Madison and the surrounding counties have a highly trained healthcare workforce to meet the state's current and future needs.
