Free legal clinic is helping to remove education and employment barriers

Legal issues can interfere with student success and undermine family well-being. That’s where the free Legal Clinic at Madison College can help. The clinic is believed to be the first-of-its-kind in the nation.

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Madison College’s Goodman South Campus, 2429 Perry St., Wisconsin Appeals Court Judge Brian Blanchard will moderate a panel discussion on how legal services can remove barriers to education and employment. The panel will also discuss the importance and success of the Legal Clinic at Madison College.

A question and answer session will follow the discussion. The event is free and open to the public.
