Get Hands-on Healthcare Training
The Watertown Campus can prepare you for a healthcare career in a variety of fields. Earn your nursing degree in just two years, or choose from several technical diploma programs that can be completed in a single semester:
- Associate Degree Nursing (RN)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Nursing Assistant
- Phlebotomist/Specimen Processor
If you’re considering other health sciences associate degrees or a career in early childhood education, you can get started on your pre-program requirements at the Watertown Campus.
Begin Your Bachelor’s Degree
Your path to a four-year program can start close to home. Madison College makes it affordable and convenient to get underway on University Transfer classes or a degree at your neighborhood campus.
The Watertown Campus offers math, English/communication, natural sciences, social sciences and other general education classes. Courses specific to your major are typically hosted at our Madison - Truax or Madison - Goodman South campuses, or online.

Early College Pre-Health Pathway
Get a jump start in high-demand occupations in health care. Earn Madison College credits and high school credits at the same time. You can attend part- or full-time. To be eligible, you must:
- Be a senior or junior.
- Meet enrollment requirements.
- Complete the WTCS Start College Now Application and submit to your high school:
- Fall Courses by 3/1
- Spring Courses by 10/1

Youth Safe Sitter Essentials with CPR
Safe Sitter® prepares students in grades 6–8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. Students use CPR manikins to practice choking rescue and CPR! This course includes friends and family CPR. Please note that students do not get certified in CPR.
Please bring your own lunch.

Career Discovery Youth Campus
Teens can explore different career paths through our Youth Camps. These hands-on programs introduce new skills and encourage participants to follow their curiosity while learning about potential careers.

Jefferson County Financial Empowerment Center
The Jefferson County Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) is a free service for adults who live or work in Jefferson County. Our financial counselors are trained to provide help with things like:
- Making a budget
- Paying off debt
- Improving your credit
- Planning for your future
You can meet a counselor at the Watertown campus to learn about saving money, building credit, and getting ready for family needs.
This service is free because of support from Jefferson County Human Services, the Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin, and other sponsors like the CFE Fund.
