Madison College's Career Discovery youth camps offer fun, interactive educational experiences for children in grades 5-12. Our camps are designed to enhance your child's knowledge and personal growth with exciting hands-on classes, labs and experiences customized for youth.
- All camps start at 9 am and end at 3 pm
- Enrollment based on grade level in Fall 2025
- Breakfast snack, classroom snacks and lunch provided
- Some camps have off-site field trips

Mornings:
Dive into the exciting world of calligraphy! Through fun, interactive lessons and hands-on activities, kids will learn the foundational principles of lettering and penmanship in a way tailored just for them. Guided by expert instructors, they’ll master the basics, build confidence, and develop fine motor skills.
Afternoons:
This is where creativity takes flight! Participants will use their new calligraphy skills to experiment with vibrant watercolor techniques and design personalized cards. Freshwater scientists use a variety of tools to explore and understand our aquatic ecosystems. The journey to master these scientific tools is a lifelong adventure!
Get ready to experience several ecological methods and protocols used to study freshwater ecosystems. We'll be heading outdoors, so be prepared for any weather!
You'll also have the chance to develop your own research protocol, analyze your results, and share your findings with your peers—just like a true scientist!
