The Fort Atkinson Campus prepares students for jobs ranging from patient care to metalwork. Choose from four technical diploma programs that will have you workforce-ready in less than two years:
If you’re interested in other roles in the healthcare industry, you can complete pre-program requirements for various health sciences associate degrees at your hometown campus.
Begin Your Bachelor’s Degree
Have your sights set on a four-year degree? Madison College makes it affordable and convenient to start University Transfer classes or a degree at your local campus.
The Fort Atkinson Campus offers English/communication, math, natural sciences, social sciences and other general education classes. Courses specific to your major are typically offered at our Madison - Truax or Madison - Goodman South campuses or online.

ESL Classes
Gain confidence in your English skills. Choose from beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Remember that our ESL classes are free!
Career Discovery Youth Camps
Teens can explore different career paths through our Youth Camps. These hands-on programs introduce new skills and encourage participants to follow their curiosity while learning about potential careers.
Jefferson County Financial Empowerment Center
The Jefferson County Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) is a free service for adults who live or work in Jefferson County. Our financial counselors are trained to provide help with things like:
- Making a budget
- Paying off debt
- Improving your credit
- Planning for your future
You can meet a counselor at the Fort Atkinson campus to learn about saving money, building credit, and getting ready for family needs.
This service is free because of support from Jefferson County Human Services, the Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin, and other sponsors like the CFE Fund.

Plus, our welding, metal fabrication and healthcare classrooms and labs are designed to give you the hands-on training that leads to a great-paying job! Our Adult Learning Center will prepare you for GED/HSED testing.
