Investing in Spaces that Inspire

Published:

Our campuses are strategically designed with one goal in mind: helping students and communities learn and thrive. From upgraded lab spaces to state-of-the-art equipment, we’re continually investing in our facilities to provide exceptional experiences for students and employees.

Fort Atkinson

To meet the growing demand for skilled workers, the Fort Atkinson campus unveiled a $1 million, 4,700 square-foot fabrication and welding addition in 2021. This impressive space added nine new welding booths for a total of 17 booths and a classroom where students can do computer design work and workforce partners can train.

Portage

In 2023, the Portage Enterprise Center (PEC) added a new CNC Machine and updated CNC software, C300 Lincoln Multiprocessor Powersource welders, and a vertical machining center. These upgrades ensure that students are learning on the latest equipment and makes it possible for the entire welding program to be taught at the PEC. Local employers also use the facility to train employees.

Reedsburg

The newest major addition at our Reedsburg campus is a planned expansion of emergency medical services (EMS) and nursing facilities scheduled for 2026. Design work is currently underway for these projects budgeted at $3 million.

Watertown

Our Watertown nurses and emergency medical technician (EMT) graduates make a real difference by contributing their life-saving skills to regional healthcare facilities, including the Watertown Regional Medical Center. To elevate the learning experience of the next generation of healthcare professionals, we have expanded this facility with over 6,000 square feet of nursing skills and simulation labs, classrooms, and cutting edge equipment.

Beyond Construction

While these are the most significant additions to our regional campuses, many smaller projects truly enrich the student experience. From newly resurfaced parking lots at Fort Atkinson, Portage and Watertown campuses to Watertown’s refreshed student kitchenette and vending area, we strive to create an environment where students feel supported, inspired, and ready to succeed.
