Madison College’s concert series features holiday classics and “Wicked” tunes
Join us for captivating performances by talented students and community members at the Madison College Fall Concert series on Nov. 8, Dec. 6, Dec. 7, Dec. 13 and Dec. 14.
This year's diverse lineup celebrates the incredible abilities of our college's orchestra, band, choral collective, big band, and jazz ensemble.
The Madison College Music Program offers a vibrant platform where students and community members can showcase their musical talents in captivating venues, on and off campus, culminating in this much-anticipated annual concert series.
On Nov. 8, immerse yourself in an evening of exquisite music, highlighted by the powerful works of renowned composers such as Verdi and Bach. The program will also feature a beautiful suite by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, alongside a Mozart concerto that will shine with the skill of superb soloists Vini Sant'Ana on violin and Madlen Breckbill on viola.
Mark your calendars for a festive Holiday Celebration concert on Dec. 13. The Municipal Band will take the stage to fill the air with familiar and beloved holiday melodies, alongside masterful compositions by Vaughan Williams and Alfred Reed.
As a special treat, the band will also perform a delightful medley of songs from the Broadway sensation "Wicked," just in time for the recent release of its movie adaptation, adding an extra touch of magic to the evening.

All concerts, except the Dec. 14 event, are in the Mitby Theatre, 1701 Wright Street. Parking is available in the visitor lot.
