Ann McNeary and Tonya Olson have been appointed to the Madison College Board of Trustees. Their terms are July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027.
McNeary, a Sun Prairie resident, holds the positions of AFL-CIO Community Services Liaison at the United Way of Dane County and Enterprise IT Specialist at Dane County Information Management. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin, is a charter member of the Sun Prairie Area Chorus, chairs the AFL-CIO State Community Service Committee, and is the Chair of the CWA Political Council. She earned an associate degree in data processing and computer programming from Madison College and a bachelor of science in business from Edgewood College. McNeary will serve as an Employee Member of the Board.
Olson, a resident of Cottage Grove, is the District Administrator for the Lake Mills Area School District. She is a member of the Belleville Kiwanis, Lake Mills Rotary, Cottage Grove Friends of the Library, and the Lake Mills Library Board. Olson earned a bachelor of science and master of science degrees from Concordia University and a doctorate of education degree from Edgewood College. Olson will serve as a School District Administrator Member of the Board.
Shiva Bidar-Sielaff, who was originally appointed to the District Board in 2015, was re-appointed for a new, three-year term. She is the Chief Diversity Officer for UW Hospitals and Clinics. She resides in Madison and will serve as an Employer Member of the District Board.
Randy Guttenberg and Arlyn Halvorson did not seek re-appointment to the District Board.
