Join us for the Madison College Annual Spring Pow Wow, an extraordinary celebration of Native American heritage and culture.

This vibrant event on Saturday, April 26, at Madison College Truax Campus will bring together singers and dancers from tribal nations across Wisconsin, creating an atmosphere of unity and tradition.

The Spring Pow Wow features a lineup of invited drummers, including the Host Drum, Little Bear, along with Invited Drums: Bearheart, Little Priest Singers, 2nd Island, Tomahawk Circle, and Twin Tails. Dancers will showcase their skills and challenge each other in special competitions, including all men’s dance, all women’s dance, appliqué special, singer championship, potato dance, and bells only.

The color guard presentation by Sanford WhiteEagle Legion Post 556 will pay homage to the community's military service.

Madison College's Native American Student Association (NASA), in collaboration with the Madison College Intercultural Exchange and the Division of College, Culture and Climate, is honored to host this event and acknowledge the college's commitment to fostering cultural understanding and inclusivity.
