The Madison College Board of Trustees selected Gold Hill Associates to assist in the search for the next Madison College president.
The board announced the hiring of the Mississippi-based college executive search firm at its April 3 meeting.
“We have full confidence in Gold Hill Associates' expertise and commitment to helping Madison College find the best candidate to lead our institution’s future,’ said Madison College District Board Chair Donald Dantzler. “We look forward to a robust national search and welcoming a new leader in 2025 to guide us toward continued excellence and elevating our community and workforce partnerships.”
Madison College President Jack E. Daniels, originally slated to retire on June 30, 2024, has extended his role through Dec. 31, 2024, to allow for the leadership transition.
Gold Hill Associates will gather input and feedback from students, employees, and the community to craft a presidential profile. The board, with the search firm’s guidance, will outline the search process and select a search committee representing the college community and stakeholders.
