Search | Menu The Mitby Theater at Madison College's Truax campus is a contemporary, state-of-the-art performance venue capable of hosting a wide variety of events. With 975 seats in a continental seating style, the theater presents an intimate performance environment while comfortably holding a large number of people.
The theater was originally designed as a home for the Madison Symphony Orchestra, so the acoustics are outstanding.
Mitby currently hosts student performances for Madison College's Performing Arts department as well as local and national touring productions.

Online ticket sales end 60 minutes before the event. Tickets will be on sale at the door one hour before show time on the day of the event.
In most cases, there is a $1 fee added to each ticket whether sold online or at the door. We suggest purchasing tickets online to avoid an extra trip. You can also choose the Print at Home option to avoid standing in line at Will Call before the show. Print at Home will print one piece of paper with a barcode for all tickets on your order. Please bring that paper to the show.
