Chef Series to host artisan baker Greg Wade

The Madison College Chef Series will host Chicago-based artisan baker Greg Wade this coming Tuesday evening, January 24th. The event will feature a live chef demonstration followed by an interview with Chef Series host Kyle Cherek - a culinary historian, food essayist, and 11-year host of the Emmy Award-winning television show Wisconsin Foodie on PBS.

Tickets are currently on sale to the public and can be found here. Reception at 5 pm, event starts promptly as 6 pm. The event takes place at the Madison College Truax campus, 1701 Wright Street in room B1287.

The inspiration behind the Madison College Chef Series is to bring in culinary professionals both locally and regionally to share their craft and offer engaging live demonstrations to Madison College students and the community. Chef Series host Kyle Cherek interviews each guest chef, drawing out unique stories, personal and professional highlights and lessons learned along the way. The series is made possible by The Vollrath Company.

Worth noting - the Chef Series has one more event scheduled for this year. Pastry chef and cookbook author Zoë François will visit Madison College on April 6th. Registration for this event has not yet been announced.
