Free Legal Clinic helping students and community

Immigration. Expungements. Child support. Landlord-tenant issues.

Those are just some of the areas that Madison College's free Legal Clinic has helped students and low-income community members during the past two years.

Madison College Clinic Coordinator Norma Kropp told the Wisconsin State Journal that having the clinic at the Goodman South Campus brings more visibility to students and offers a level of trust they may not feel from an outside source.

Attorneys can help clients face-to-face, online or in a hybrid format. So far, the clinic has received more than 800 requests for free legal advice.
