It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It's beginning to look, sound, feel, smell and taste like Christmas at Madison College's Baking and Decorative Arts kitchens.

That's because students recently put the final touches on their gingerbread houses at the Truax campus. They’ve been working on their holiday creations for much of December. Last year, the pandemic forced students to put together their gingerbread houses at home. A number of baking students ended up donating their houses to nursing homes or hospitals to help lift holiday spirits.

This year, after they’re graded, many students will be using the houses as part of their family holiday decorations.
