Offered by Madison College in partnership with Madison Metropolitan School District, this program allows you to explore the field of biotechnology and earn college credentials before you graduate high school!

Apply Your Junior Year and Attend Your Senior Year

Earn College Credit

Enroll full-time at Madison College during your senior year of high school and earn up to 30 college credits. You could finish high school with a technical diploma (or two) and a head start on your associate degree.

Save Time and Money

Attending the Early College Biomedical Academy will save you time and money in the future. You’ll have the option to start a biotechnology job right out high school, or you can complete another 38 credits to earn your associate degree or transfer into a bachelor’s program

Post-High School Options

Upon finishing your Early College Biomedical Academy coursework, you’ll have college credentials that allow you to immediately enter the workforce. You may also opt to continue your education and earn a Biotechnology Laboratory Technician associate degree at Madison College.

After that, you can transfer to a four-year institution. Our transfer agreements guarantee your admission to a number of partner schools, making your transition to a bachelor’s program easy and seamless.
