Techies Wanted: Prepare for an IT Career and Degree in High School!

Madison College has partnered with Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) to train tomorrow’s tech workforce today. Start taking college classes your senior year, and you could be halfway to an associate degree before your high school graduation!

Apply Your Junior Year and Attend Your Senior Year
Earn College Credit
Take IT classes at Madison College during your senior year of high school and earn up to 30 college credits. You can then apply those course credits toward an associate degree at Madison College and/or transfer them into a bachelor’s degree program.
Save Time and Money
Attending the Early College Networking and Cybersecurity Academy in high school will save you time and money in the future. Your IT classes can bring you one year closer to a Network Systems Administration or Cybersecurity Specialist associate degree.

In addition, the ever-present threat of cyberattacks means there will continue to be an ongoing need for cybersecurity experts. Post-High School Options
When you finish your Early College Networking and Cybersecurity Academy coursework, you’ll have up to 30 credits you can apply toward a Network Systems Administration or Cybersecurity Specialist associate degree at Madison College.
After that, you can enter the workforce or continue on to a four-year institution. Our transfer agreements guarantee your admission to a number of partner schools, making your transition to a bachelor’s program easy and seamless.
