  • Program Overview

The UX/UI technical diploma at Madison College is a focused, one-year program designed for professionals looking to expand their skillset or transition into a career in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.

Whether you come from a background in marketing, communications, graphic design or another creative or technical field, this program provides a practical entry point into the world of digital product design.

The curriculum emphasizes key UX/UI concepts, such as user research, wireframing, interface design, prototyping, accessibility and usability—with a strong focus on human-centered design principles. Unlike the associate degree, the technical diploma does not include web development, allowing students to concentrate on the planning and visual side of digital experiences.

Students gain hands-on experience through applied projects, developing a professional portfolio that demonstrates their understanding of UX/UI practices.

    Program Details

Students in the UX/UI program can attend full- or part-time.

Any in-person UX/UI technical diploma classes are offered at the Madison College Truax campus.
