Accounting instructor talks about this year's tax changes

2020 was a year many of us would like to forget. However, we officially can't do that until our taxes are filed.

Madison College accounting instructor Dan O'Brien talked with Channel 3 and Channel 27 about what kind of tax changes we can expect this year.

Although many folks worked from home in 2020, O'Brien told Channel 27 news that they will not be able to deduct that as an expense on their taxes unless a room was set up strictly for an office and no other use.

On a positive note, O'Brien says there shouldn't be any major delays in receiving your refund this year.
