Madison College 2026 Spring Commencement set for May 15
When Camila Alcantara Perez takes the stage as student commencement speaker this May, she will already be weeks away from graduating high school and celebrating her associate degree.
Perez, an Early College STEM Academy student and Verona Area High School student, is just one of the many students to be honored at Madison College’s Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony on May 15 at the Alliant Energy Center’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Madison.
Family, friends and the community are invited to join in person or via livestream to share in the excitement. No ticket is needed. Seating is general admission, first come, first served. Doors open at 4 p.m., with the ceremony starting at 5:30 p.m.
This spring, approximately 2,444 Madison College students will earn associate degrees, technical diplomas, certificates and complete apprenticeships.
The largest number of graduates are completing programs aligned with regional workforce demand, including nursing and emergency medical technician (EMT) training. Others are preparing to continue their education, with the University Transfer program representing the second-largest group this spring.

The spring 2026 graduates reflects a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, from teenagers earning early college credit to adult learners over age 62.
Together, these students highlight the evolving role of Madison College in preparing individuals for careers, continued education and lifelong success.
