Health Simulation Center receives prestigious international re-endorsement
Madison College's Centers for Simulation and Innovation, Health Simulation Center has received re-endorsement from the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL).
Madison College was the first technical/community college in the nation to be formally recognized and endorsed by INACSL. The INACSL Endorsement reflects Madison College’s ongoing commitment to high-quality, evidence-based simulation practices that enhance healthcare education and student readiness.
The Health Simulation Center was first endorsed in 2020 and has consistently demonstrated excellence in meeting INACSL’s Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice™.
“This re-endorsement is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and impact of our simulation faculty and staff,” said Jeffrey Wenzel, Simulation Center Director. “Our simulation programs are transforming how students learn and preparing them to meet the demands of today’s healthcare environment with competence and confidence.”
The formal recognition was announced at the July 2025 INACSL Conference, a leading international event for healthcare simulation education.
Madison College’s Health Simulation Center plays a vital role in supporting over 2,500 students annually across all Schools of Nursing, Health, and Human and Protective Services for the entire Madison College District.
