custom:waitlist_academic_preparedness don't forget the brackets
This program uses a waiting list to manage program admission due to capacity limitations and program demand. This means there are typically more applicants than there are open seats in the program.
A waiting list helps us manage applications in a way that is fair and transparent.
Academic Preparedness Requirements
This program has academic preparedness requirements that must be completed before beginning core classes. When you’ve completed all academic preparedness requirements, you will complete the declaration process.
Declaration Process Overview
The declaration process includes the following steps:
Admission (pre-core)
The path to your core program begins with applying for admission to your program. Your student classification will be pre-core.
Once you enroll at Madison College, you can run your Degree Progress Report to confirm which pre-program requirements are satisfied/not satisfied and view specific ways to satisfy the requirements.
Academic Preparedness (core ready)
When you’ve completed all of your program’s academic preparedness requirements, you will be classified as core ready and will be eligible to complete the declaration process.
Declaration (core active)
When you’re admitted into your desired program and are taking core classes, you will be considered core active.
