Melanie Lichtfeld is a resident of Columbus. She is the owner of Lichtfeld Plumbing, where she is a fourth-generation plumber operating the business that was started by her great-great grandfather in 1895. She is the recipient of the Trailblazer award, which recognizes women in business in Wisconsin. She also received the Torchbearer award, which recognizes business in Wisconsin that have been family-owned for three or more generations. Brava Magazine also designated her as a “Woman to Watch.”
