Students give back to community in honor of MLK Day

"Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve." - Martin Luther King Jr.

In honor of MLK Day, about a dozen Madison College students did service work at Little John's Kitchens in Verona this week.

“It’s a way for me to be useful to my community, be important to my community, help my community in some other way by giving my time,” electrical engineering student Wilfried Tapsoba told Channel 15 news.

Students say MLK Day is an important reminder to give back and help others.
