After completing the admission process, qualified applicants are admitted to the pre-program. This program has petition requirements that must be completed before beginning core classes. Petition requirements vary by program; review the Paramedic and Paramedic Technician Petition Requirements for details. When you’ve completed all petition requirements, you will complete the petition process.

Admission Requirements
All materials must be submitted by the application deadline.
1. Admissions Application
The online application allows you to save your work as you complete it and ensures fast, secure delivery to our office.If you are an international student and want to apply to Madison College, or transfer your F-1 student visa here, check program availability and then complete the International Admission Process.
2. Education Completion
Graduation from high school, completion of GED/HSED or completion of 5 college-level credits with a C or higher is required. Graduation from high school or completion of GED/HSED is required if applying for financial aid.
Official transcripts must be sent from the institutions you attended and indicate one of the following:- College transcript or Madison College experience showing:
- Cumulative college GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4-point scale with a minimum of 5 credits
- The credits must be completed at a single college and cannot be combined with other transcripts
- Any transfer credit listed on a transcript does not count toward the 5 credit minimum
- Credits completed at Madison College are evaluated and do not require a transcript
- Cumulative college GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4-point scale with a minimum of 5 credits
- High school completion (current high school seniors may submit an in-progress transcript)
- GED/HSED completion
All high school and/or college transcripts are recommended to be submitted for Credit for Prior Learning evaluation.

This program has academic preparedness requirements that must be completed before beginning core classes. Pre-core students can run their Degree Progress Report to confirm which academic preparedness requirements are satisfied/not satisfied and view specific ways to satisfy requirements. When you’ve completed all academic preparedness requirements, you will complete the declaration process.
