For the 14th straight year, Madison College culinary arts students and instructors are cooking turkeys for the River Food Pantry's upcoming Thanksgiving dinner. But it's not just turkeys they're preparing. Take a look at this list:
- 90 turkeys
- 1,000 pounds of Yukon Gold smashed potatoes
- 50 gallons of gravy
The pantry is expected to serve nearly 2,000 people this Thanksgiving. Channel 3 (WISC-TV) interviewed Madison College Chef John Johnson about all the prep work the college is doing.
