Cycling fundraiser to help support students impacted by the coronavirus

We have seen and heard lots of encouraging stories about people helping people

during the coronavirus pandemic. Here’s another wonderful example.

Madison College School of Academic Advancement Manager Kevin Foley is
cycling more than 170 miles on Friday, May 15, in hopes of raising $10,000 for

the college’s student emergency support fund – which has already helped

hundreds of students with such things as food security, housing-related costs

and job loss during the coronavirus crisis.

"I felt like I needed to do something," said Foley. "And I want to look back at this time and feel like I did something to help someone.”

Foley is calling his fundraiser the Tour de Madison College, because he’ll be stopping at each of the college’s eight campuses during his journey.
