Early College STEM Academy student Leta Samsa has won the Jocelyn Scholarship. The award honors Jocelyn Gannon — a young photo enthusiast who was killed in a helicopter crash along with her mother.
“I’m a very creativity-driven person,” Samsa told Madison Magazine. “I can’t really imagine myself doing a job that isn’t some form of art.”
This month’s Madison Magazine has more on the importance of
the scholarship and Leta’s future career plans.
