Madison College student receives volunteer award

Jaleah Hunt gets an A+ when it comes to helping families in need.

The Madison College student was recently featured on Channel 27 for her award-winning volunteer work with F.O.S.T.E.R of Dane County. 

"It's important for me to give back because I know that if I was in need or something, I would want somebody to do the same for me," Jaleah told the TV station. "It's just the right thing to do. You know, it just it makes my heart warm."

As part of her award, Jaleah is receiving a scholarship to continue her education.
