Madison College Watertown launches Phlebotomy Program in Fall 2024

Madison College Watertown Campus unveiled a new Phlebotomy Program for the Fall 2024 semester. 

This specialized program provides students with the essential skills and expertise necessary for a successful career as a phlebotomist. Graduates of the program can also advance their studies by continuing in the Medical Lab Tech program.

The Phlebotomy Program encompasses two required classes: Basic Lab Skills and Phlebotomy. Classes are designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in both theoretical concepts and practical applications.

Students will attend Basic Lab Skills class once a week on Thursday evenings, from 4-8:30 p.m., from Aug. 29 to Oct. 10. From Oct. 15-Dec. 12, students will attend classes on Tuesday (5:30-7:30 p.m.) and Thursday evenings (4:30-8:30 p.m.)
