Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

3 CREDITS | HALF SEMESTER | TECHNICAL DIPLOMA

Get started quickly on your healthcare career! Our 3-credit Nursing Assistant course can help you prepare for employment as a nursing assistant performing basic nursing care. Many nursing assistant graduates continue their nursing studies at Madison College.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

33 CREDITS | 1.5 YEARS | TECHNICAL DIPLOMA

Earn your practical nurse technical diploma in less than two years. Practical nurses carrying out prescribed plans of care for patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This program is also a pathway toward the nursing associate degree for those with a goal of becoming a registered nurse.

Registered Nurse (RN)

65 CREDITS | 2 YEARS | ASSOCIATE DEGREE

The two-year Associate Degree in Nursing program prepares students to become a registered nurse (RN). RN’s directly administer medication and treatments to patients, assist physicians performing medical procedures, perform medical tests and analyze results, create nursing care plans, supervise and direct LPNs and CNAs, communicate with patients and their families and more.
