Initial Courses
Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) - 80 hr
This course meets the endorsement requirements for the Critical Care Paramedic level. This is a state-approved 80-hour course including classroom, laboratory/clinical time. You must have two years working at the paramedic level or approval from your medical director to enroll.

- Get enrollment permission from the instructor via email.
- Once online permission has been granted, you must take action to enroll in critical care paramedic via self-service or with staff assistance.
Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) - 72 hr
This is an entry-level emergency medical provider course that will prepare individuals for employment or a volunteer position in a variety of pre-hospital, industrial and first responder settings. The EMR course is designed to provide participants with the basic knowledge and skills to manage many medical and trauma-related emergencies. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are eligible to seek national certification as an emergency medical responder through the National Registry of EMTs.

Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)
PEARS is a classroom, instructor-led course that helps healthcare providers develop the knowledge and skills needed for emergency evaluation and treatment of seriously ill infants and children.
