German students learning new skills at Madison College

Willkommen!

Madison College trained about a dozen applied manufacturing apprenticeship students and staff members from Hessen, Germany at the Truax campus.

The partnership program, which was co-sponsored by the UW-Madison Center for German and European Studies, shared best practices in teaching and job skills for advanced carpenters and precision mechanics. The goal of the exchange program was for students to receive hands-on professional training and also a better chance at employment.
