Law enforcement instructor named to special state task force

Madison College law enforcement instructor Kalvin Barrett is among the 32 people who have been named to a new state task force that will address racial disparities and policing standards.

The Wisconsin State Journal says the Speaker’s Task Force on Racial Disparities consists of state lawmakers, civil rights and faith leaders and law enforcement officials.

More than 100 people applied to be on the task force.
