Political science instructor discusses Supreme Court nominee controversy

The Senate Judiciary Committee has kicked off confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.

Republicans are defending the decision to confirm Barrett so close to the election, while Democrats say her confirmation would be a threat to Obamacare, among other things.

Madison College political science instructor Dr. Maurice Sheppard was recently interviewed by Channel 3's "For the Record" show about the debate over the nomination process.
