Wisconsin registered nurses host summit at Madison College to solve nursing shortage

Nurses will gather for the June 21 Wisconsin Nurses Association's Invitational Summit at Madison College and other tech colleges to address the current nurse shortages.

Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez, RN is expected to give an update on the Governors Health Care Workforce Task Force.

Kerri Kliminski, Dean of the Madison College School of Nursing and President of the Wisconsin Center for Nursing (WCN) will welcome summit participants.

The summit aims to increase nurses' visibility, value, and vital role in delivering nursing care in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin's Nurse Workforce Shortage Invitational Summit is Friday, June 21, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Madison College-Truax campus, 1701 Wright St. (Room D1630). Other sites are Fox Valley Technical College, Chippewa Valley Technical College, and Northcentral Technical College.
