Overview

In this Web & Digital Media Design program, you will acquire the design and production skills needed to work in the growing field of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Web & Digital Media Design program will prepare you to create responsive web pages, as well as content for many other types of applications, interactive projects and devices.

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web animation, motion graphics, content management systems and project management are just a few of the skills you will gain in order to produce a variety of cutting-edge interactive projects. The Web & Digital Media Design also includes courses with an emphasis on composition, color, typography, interface design and user experience. This will provide you with the front-end design skills needed to give interactive projects the creative advantage. You will have the opportunity to work with real clients, and prepare a portfolio of work.

Once admitted to the Web & Digital Media Design program, you may choose to earn an additional associate degree in Visual Communications or Graphic Design with only two more semesters of study. Attend an Advising, Application, Information & More (AAIM) Session to learn how.
