Python Programming Intermediate
Python is a widely used programming language for data analysis and reporting because the language emphasizes productivity and code readability. This class expands concepts that are part of an introductory Python course and emphasizes the creation of scripts to support data analysis procedures and the automation of tasks. Students will learn procedures that can be used to interact with remote (Server) and local databases, efficiently process multiple data files, create supporting data structures, and generate reports in the form of spreadsheets, charts, or maps. During the lectures students will learn class concepts through discussions and in-class exercises that will rely on code templates provided by the instructor to complete data analysis and automation tasks. As part of the class students will have an opportunity to improve their coding skills by practicing debugging, breaking problems into small tasks, and interacting with objects and packages created by other people.

Topics covered include creating basic geometry, understanding stickiness in SketchUp and how to use it to your advantage, using the drawing tools, creating and working with groups and components, texturing your model, creating scenes, and managing styles. The features and benefits of SketchUp Pro will be introduced along with additional resources for further study.
Learn advanced modeling techniques and presentation document creation with SketchUp Pro including Layout. Topics covered include custom template creation, keyboard shortcuts for improved workflow, utilizing the power of scenes and layers, sending your model to Layout, creating construction drawings with layout including adding dimensions, using pattern fills, using layers, and creating custom scrapbooks.
In this class we will discuss and demonstrate the process of Computer Aided Design using the industry-standard Autodesk AutoCAD. Students learn how to customize the software while incorporating AutoCAD into their design process using graphic standards. Topics include document setup, 2-dimensional drawing, modifications, dimensioning, and document layout for printing.
The Intermediate class takes up where AutoCAD Intro leaves off. The student will learn further customization of the AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT program, working with external references and raster images, developing annotated blocks and exploring simple 3-D drawing. Students will utilize and create more complex drawing functions and drawings and work with AutoCAD formulas to create property lines. Additional topics include X-Reffing (External Reference files) other AutoCAD drawings and creating modifications, Inserting and working with raster images within an AutoCAD drawing, and developing, editing and using annotated blocks.

In this course for true beginners, students will become familiar with the keyboard, mouse, software and hardware terminology and learn to use desktop icons, menus, applications and the Windows operating system. Students also learn how to create and manage files and storage media.
Mac Computer Intro
This course is for the beginning Mac user. Students will become familiar with Mac basics and applications such as Mail and Safari and will learn about iLife (iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, iWeb, iDVD, and GarageBand).
Students will become familiar with the Windows desktop, taskbar, menus, commands, and gadgets and learn about launching programs and apps, resizing windows, using tiles, and multitasking. Topics also include clipboard functions, using a ribbon interface in applications, and managing files and folders.
In this workshop you will explore eBay, the premier online marketplace. Learn the basics of how to create accounts, browse, bid, buy and sell items at the site.
